Although I am a New York state licensed attorney, when we mediate I am acting as your mediator only, and therefore I am not legally representing either of you. I do recommend that you each retain separate legal counsel at some point during the mediation process, but especially at the end, to review the Agreement prior to signing. This will ensure that you both have a full understanding of your legal rights and responsibilities. |
